Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of 7GenEdu.com ("Site"), operated by Seven Hills Iowa LLC. This AUP is part of our Terms of Service.

7.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

  • Sharing credentials: Do not share your account login credentials with any other person. Your account is for your personal use only.
  • Automated access: Do not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, spiders, or any other automated tools to access, download, index, or interact with the Site or its Content without our prior written permission.
  • Circumventing access controls: Do not attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any access controls, download limits, authentication systems, DRM, or other security measures implemented on the Site.
  • Reverse engineering: Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying structure of the Site, its software, or any Content delivery mechanisms.
  • Impersonation: Do not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity, including 7GenEdu staff or representatives.
  • Malicious code: Do not upload, transmit, or introduce viruses, malware, trojans, worms, ransomware, or any other malicious code or harmful components to the Site.
  • Harassment: Do not harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users, staff, or any person through the Site or in connection with 7GenEdu services.
  • Unauthorized commercial use: Do not use Content for commercial purposes beyond what is expressly authorized by your subscription plan. See our Terms of Service for license details by plan.
  • Marketplace resale: Do not list, sell, or distribute our Content on third-party marketplaces including but not limited to Etsy, Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT), Amazon, Creative Market, Gumroad, or any similar platform.
  • Creating competing products: Do not use our Content, designs, or materials as the basis for creating competing educational products or services.
  • Fake reviews: Do not post fraudulent, misleading, or incentivized reviews of 7GenEdu on any platform, including our own Site, app stores, or third-party review sites.
  • Multiple accounts for abuse: Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent download limits, refund restrictions, enforcement actions, or any other policy limitations.
  • Redistribution: Do not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share downloaded Content outside the scope of your license.
  • Copyright notice removal: Do not remove or alter any copyright notices, watermarks, or proprietary legends on Content.
  • Harmful activity: Do not engage in any activity that could harm children or put them at risk, or violate any applicable law or regulation.

7.2 AI Feature Usage Rules

7GenEdu may offer AI-powered features such as content recommendations, custom worksheet generation, or learning suggestions. When using any AI features, you agree to the following rules:

  • No child PII in AI inputs: Do not enter any child's personally identifiable information (name, age, school, address, photo, or any identifying details) into any AI-powered feature. Use only general descriptors (e.g., "my 7-year-old" or "3rd grader").
  • No jailbreaking or prompt injection: Do not attempt to manipulate, override, or circumvent AI system prompts, safety guardrails, or content filters through prompt injection, jailbreaking, or adversarial inputs.
  • No harmful content generation: Do not use AI features to generate content that is violent, sexual, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate for an educational platform serving children.
  • No scraping AI output for competing products: Do not systematically use AI features to generate content for the purpose of creating competing products or services. Output from AI features is licensed under the same terms as other Content on the Site.
  • Report AI issues: If you encounter AI-generated content that is inaccurate, inappropriate, or concerning, please report it to support@7genedu.com.

7.3 Review Guidelines

If you submit reviews, ratings, comments, or feedback on the Site, your submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Honest feedback: Reviews must be based on your genuine experience with 7GenEdu and its Content. Do not post reviews for products or services you have not used.
  • No profanity or offensive language: Keep all reviews appropriate for a family-friendly, educational environment.
  • No child PII: Do not include any personally identifiable information about children in reviews, including names, photos, schools, or other identifying details.
  • No duplicate reviews: Do not post multiple reviews for the same product or service, whether from the same account or different accounts.
  • No spam or promotional content: Do not use reviews to advertise, promote other products or services, or include irrelevant links.
  • No hate speech or discrimination: Reviews must not contain content that discriminates against or harasses any individual or group.

We reserve the right to remove any review that violates these guidelines without notice.

7.4 Enforcement

If we determine that you have violated this AUP, we may take one or more of the following actions at our sole discretion, in escalating order of severity:

  • Warning: For first-time or minor violations, we may issue a written warning via email explaining the violation and required corrective action.
  • Temporary suspension: For repeated or moderate violations, we may temporarily restrict access to your account for a period we deem appropriate.
  • Permanent termination: For severe violations, repeated offenses, or any activity involving content theft, redistribution, marketplace resale, or fraud, we may permanently close your account and revoke your license to use all Content.
  • Legal action: For violations that cause harm to Seven Hills Iowa LLC, its users, or third parties, we reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies, including civil claims for damages and injunctive relief.

We may take enforcement action without prior notice if the violation is severe or poses an immediate risk to the Site, its users, or third parties.
