Seven Hills Iowa LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of 7GenEdu.com to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond promptly to notices of alleged infringement.
8.1 Intellectual Property Protection
All content on 7GenEdu.com — including printables, worksheets, illustrations, graphics, text, logos, and software — is the intellectual property of Seven Hills Iowa LLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
We invest significant time, expertise, and resources in creating high-quality educational materials. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of our content is a violation of our rights and may subject you to civil and criminal penalties.
We actively monitor the internet for unauthorized copies of our content and will pursue all available legal remedies against infringers.
8.2 DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on 7GenEdu.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all six of the following elements:
- 1. Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- 2. Identification of the copyrighted work: Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- 3. Identification of the infringing material: Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on our Site (e.g., specific URL(s)).
- 4. Contact information: Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- 5. Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- 6. Accuracy statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Incomplete notices may not be processed. Please ensure all six elements are included in your submission.
8.3 DMCA Designated Agent

Upon receiving a valid and complete DMCA takedown notice, we will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notify the user who posted or uploaded the material about the takedown.
- Provide the user with information about the counter-notification process.
8.4 Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed in error or that you have authorization to use the material, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA Agent at support@7genedu.com. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal (e.g., URL).
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where your address is located (or, if outside the United States, the federal district court for the Southern District of Iowa), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or an agent of such person.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will:
- Forward the counter-notification to the original complainant.
- Inform the complainant that we will restore the material in 10–14 business days unless they file a court action seeking a restraining order.
- Restore the material within 10–14 business days if no court action is filed.
8.5 Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and our own policies, we maintain a repeat infringer policy. We will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Specifically:
- Users who receive two or more valid DMCA takedown notices may have their accounts suspended or permanently terminated.
- Users who are found to have knowingly and repeatedly uploaded or distributed infringing content will be permanently banned.
- Terminated users may not create new accounts. Attempts to circumvent this ban (e.g., using different email addresses or payment methods) may result in additional legal action.
8.6 Good Faith Warning
Please be aware that filing a false DMCA takedown notice or counter-notification may result in legal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). This includes liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer or by us. We recommend consulting an attorney before filing if you are unsure whether your rights have been infringed.
